A broad ballot, not an editorial ranking

The launch field is assembled from current Sunshine Coast dining guides, recent public café nominations and venue information. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and omission is not a judgement.

Equal starting point

Every café begins on zero. Historical awards, online reviews, advertising and commercial relationships do not add votes or change position.

Ranking

Cafés are ordered by valid votes recorded in this category. Equal totals share a rank. Suspicious patterns and ineligible votes are reviewed before the result is finalised.

AI use

Automation may help check venue details, find duplicates, flag possible closures and identify unusual voting. AI does not cast votes, select winners or sell ranking positions.

Commercial separation

Future sponsorship or enhanced profiles, if introduced, will be clearly labelled and kept separate from the vote count and ranking.
